Clean wonderful hotel, wonderful staff and unique location by towering mountains rather anywhere. Location near the glacier the vast stretches of geothermal landscapes the towering mountains, the geysiers, living on the river bank and the river and the riverbank where the fishing is apparently very good.

Had a fantastic stay for our road trip. The bed was very exceptionally comfortable and the room was tidy and elegant. The venue's position was riverside. The restaurant was outstanding and offered hot dishes. Everything exceeded all expectations, we would book again.

A Hidden Gem by the River for a Perfect New Year!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel nestled by the river, and it was truly a hidden gem! The hotel was basic but clean, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff, a friendly Thai couple, were very flexible and made us feel welcome. The communal coffee place was a pleasant surprise, offering complimentary tea, coffee, and even a microwave. I loved soaking in the outdoor hot tub by the river, which provided a truly amazing experience. The peaceful and beautiful surroundings, including a nearby waterfall, made our stay even more memorable.
While there were a few points that could be improved, they were minor concerns. The furnishing in the rooms was basic and minimal, and the shower area was a bit small and only enclosed with a shower curtain.

The location was reasonably priced and peaceful, not far from sights of human dwellings and cityscape. the premier salmon fishing rivers in Iceland offer an absolutely gorgeous view from our room over the mountain.
